BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our outstanding and compassionate team in Winter Haven!
Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health
Location: Winter Haven
Status: Part-Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekend Work: None
On Call: No
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for:
Provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs.
Recording and documenting vital signs, patient weight and height.
Performing non-intravenous injections.
Assisting with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals.
Obtaining information required for meaningful use.
Conducting face to face visits, handles medical service related telephone calls.
Monitoring and maintains inventory and equipment.
Travel required to various program sites. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
- High school Diploma or GED.
Required Certification/License:
CMA (Medical Assistant)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Driver's License
Experience:
- 1 year experience in Behavioral Health preferred
