BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an Activities Therapist to join our outstanding and compassionate team in Lutz at St. Joseph's Hospital North!

Location: Lutz
Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekend Work: None
On Call: No
The Activities Therapist is responsible for:
The Activities Therapist evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients and residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of recreational therapy.
Conducts facility group and individual activities and recreational therapy interventions and all other duties as assigned.
Provides appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions/services as it relates to Activities Therapy.
Provides assessment, monitoring, planning, and advocacy for adults and children experiencing acute mental health and/or substance abuse issues in an acute care inpatient setting as it relates to Activities Therapy. Provides support as an active member of the treatment team.
Conduct psychotherapeutic groups.

Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field
Experience:
- 1 year experience in Behavioral Health.
