Summary: This is a non-float, PRN position

Serves as a member of the Cardiology Team, engaged in the conduct and performance of Cardiac Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing. This team member is required to assist the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support. Functions during procedures with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Required - Technical Diploma - Echocardiology; Preferred - Associates - Science or Associates - Echocardiology

Credentials:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDCS or RCS (Cardiac Sonography Certification) - within 1 year

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of post-graduate Echocardiology experience

Minimum Pool Commitment:

• 4 shifts a month (including at least 2 weekend shifts)

• 1 on-call shift a month

• Ability to work at least 1 Winter Holiday & 1 Summer Holiday
