Title: Manager Central Authorization
Facility: BayCare Central Billing Office (Remote)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and planning all aspects of Central Authorization operations to ensure accounts are financially secured for services in the healthcare system.
Establishes programs, policies and processes to maximize utilization of all available resources while maintaining high levels of quality, technology, physician relations and customer satisfaction.
Develops and implements strategies for improvement in conjunction with the clinical and administrative leadership across the system to provide quality care and maximize reimbursement for all services rendered.
Prepares and analyzes management information, denial trends, policies and CMS guidelines and government regulations in healthcare.
Develops department goals, objectives and team member expectations for productivity outcomes to avoid last minute cancellations of services due to no authorization and to guarantee timely billing.
Performs all functions mentioned above in a manner that complies with standards established by BayCare hospital administration, medical staff and outside regulatory and accreditation agencies.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
